Day 1 drawing of my camera

Tried the shoes and found I got a little lost in the details. I started drawing some of the laces and decided to stop part way through. I feel like I'm running away from the challenge of something that feels daunting to draw.

2nd time through this project for me. It may not look like it, but I'm getting better.

First attempt at the snail.

First attempt. I wish I had a little harder light because I found it hard to differentiate middle values and tried to hide it by over simplifying the shapes. I may have moved a little when taking the photo since the shadows are very different from the photo and the drawing (or maybe I didn't look enough).
