Composition for Dynamic Foreshortening (One Piece Fanart)Hello everyone, I want to make a fanart of Luffy Gear 4 Bound Man!
But I want to give it that wild and dynamic touch, like @itokazuuuu's drawings or like boichi, giving them a final rendering in graphite.
But my sketches look very loose in composition, what can I do to make them more dynamic, the 1st one looks like 2 standing pillars crushing something XD, and the 2nd one looks very generic
Any criticism is received and appreciated.

Nice job, this piece has taken major steps forward! A few things that may help would be to adjust your values so you establish a hierarchy of importance and more depth in your composition. A lot of your elements are fighting for center stage. The flowers are beautiful, but they're pulling a lot of attention away from your main portrait subject, and the birds are almost entirely lost among the leaves. By pushing certain elements back with shadow, and pulling others forward with light you can direct attention to the areas you want your viewer to focus on. I'd also consider cropping out the vine leaving frame top left, and the sun/moon/star elements in your borders. These elements further pull the eye out of the central focus of the image rather than keep the eye moving inside of your composition towards your subject. I like how you have the petals breaking this border, it helps lead the viewers eyes into the composition rather than pushing them out, so you could possibly continue that motif across the top of frame. Hope this helps, keep up the good work!
Any criticism is received, please teach me so I can improve
Hello everyone, I am making this sketch of a 3/4 portrait, so I can have a good composition.
I want to somehow be able to add the flower elements at the top left, and the flowers at the bottom right.
Without sacrificing the composition, since being in the middle I feel that it is very static, what do you think?
Hello everyone
6 months ago, I made this drawing, and I want to know what details I can improve on (Composition, Shading, Character Design, etc.)
It's actually my first framed drawing, so I'm excited about the result.
I was inspired by artists like Hiroaki Samura (Whose art with pencil and charcoal is sublime [when he is healthy.__.]
Shaun Friend, which is more comfortable for me to study
And a little James Jean
Hi! If you're referring to extreme perspective/foreshortening, it's still the same concept, just with the vanishing points closer together on the horizon line. There's a Proko video that touches on this for a more visual example: https://youtu.be/LIuNehjFmUU
An exercise you could do to build up this skill is to practice drawing boxes from a variety of vanishing points, including close together vanishing points, so you can start to get a feeling for how this affects perspective. Plus, once you're able to control extreme perspective on boxes, you can use this to place more complex forms like people/arms/legs into the 3D space. If you want a resource to turn to, I would recommend Framed Perspective by Marcos Mateu-Mestre as he gets into all the technical details of controlling your vanishing points.

You use your "mastery" of 1, 2, and 3 point perspective to create a box and draw your figure inside.
Hello everyone, I hope that like me you are enjoying learning.
I'm posting this thread because I want to learn more from this "type of perspective."
Of course I have already managed to master 1, 2 and 3 vanishing points. And I want to expand my knowledge, following the lines of teachers like Gi, and others.
But I don't know any other artists who manipulate perspective so well.
What artist do you recommend to study dynamic perspective?
What book or course can I study?
What exercises do you recommend?
I leave this incredible art, from "Itokazu taiga"

Hello. I want to know more about gift cards. Are they valid to buy a single course or depending on the amount of these you can buy several?
What are your conditions of use.
I live in Venezuela so it is difficult to send those cards, I don't know if I can send them by gmail?
