This was a very tough assignment for me. The “toy bus” has issues with the tires for sure. The toy truck looks better. I did not use a photo. First time doing something from imagination.
I’m up for all the help anyone is willing to give.
Thank you.

All I have to say is UGH!!!! I did my best at what I saw. (Or should I say think I saw) I was liking the perspective drawings. I can see it better for room, buildings, etc., but with organic shapes…..It has been difficult for me. I know, more practice.
Any advise would be great. Thank you in advance for critiques.

May look a little funky, but have 15 ft ceilings. I had a hard time deciding where to put the perspective point. I wanted to be look at the furniture, but doing that I ran out of space for the side walls. I will be doing some more practicing.

Thinking about what part of the room you want to show could help you place the vanishing point. If you place it on the left side of your page, the right side of the room will be more visible and vice versa. Similarly, placing the point towards the top of the page will give the impression of viewing from a lower vantage point, emphasizing the high ceilings. It's really about what kind of story you're trying to tell, and moving the vanishing point is a good technique! In terms of the skew in your drawing, I noticed that the top right guideline is a bit off. Hope that helps!

This was difficult for me. I’ll admit it took me longer than 10 minutes to do each. I have absolutely no experience so it is taking me long time to get things done. This is all I’ve gotten done so far. I could tell I was getting faster with each one.
All critiques are welcome. Thank you in advance.

Don't worry about the speed you're working at right now, you'll continue to improve with consistent practice. Your proportions are looking good! Your lines get a bit hairy in some places and you may be going too dark too soon. Try to keep your lines light and loose until you find the ones that feel right. This should help you find more flow even in areas that are static. Hope this helps :)

I hope these are not too light to see. I did not fully grasp the “organic” shape at first. I will be thinking about the shapes a bit differently after watching the critique.
I would very much appreciate some feed back, if you can see them. I think I need to get a red pencil. Maybe that will help me some.
Thanks,

Just finished my drawing. It took me 1.5 hours and was quite challenging. Critiques are very welcome :)
It looks like his eyes are looking towards the side but the noise really isn’t. Just something I noticed.
Thank you for bring this up, I was thinking the same thing. I know that Procreate I understand it is an affordable program, but if you have a Microsoft computer, that doesn’t help.
Hopefully someone has a suggestion.

I didn’t have any large paper so I taped two together. I listen to some of the critiques before I posted, but had it completed. Just wondering why I was having such a hard time. It sounds like it was a challenge for many of us. I didn’t realize that with me having the drawing on the table and looking at the photo from my screen may cause an issue.
I also didn’t hear the directions properly because I thought we were to complete the face which I thought it meant to make it look closer to the photo. I also got rid of many of my construction lines.
All and all I’m ok with the outcome for never drawing a portrait before. I have never taken a drawing class until now.
I would really love some feed back on how I can improve. Thank you.
