I attempted my first pear. This is pear 1 from the image. Please let me know what you all think? I am satisfied as far as the first attempt goes without watching the actual demo. Please feel free to provide critiques.

Good job! The shapes are great. I think the shadows and the dark mid tone are very similar. You could try go darker with the shadow.

I reattempted the pears after watching the demo. I tried really hard to keep the shapes simple (I always get suckered into the details). I think I eventually got there with pear-3 (the one with no background) but maybe to simplified now.

Hi all! First attempt. I think I need to try a make my shapes and lines even more simple.
I think you did well with the reference you have! I think the issue it more the reference. it seems like there is two sources of lighting or its quite direct. It isn't giving you the balance of light and dark shapes. Check timecode 1:03 in the video.
