Amelia- let me begin with I am jealous- love your realism, very clean and well done. Now for my "feedback" not so much criticism but I wish I could do.
1. The skin- color tones spot on but how to achieve texture, the bumps and splotches, Langiere"s lines etc. Instead of the plasticized skin of an Android. When you figure it out let me know.
2. Every picture needs a subject and should make a statement. I assume yours is her beautiful face. I would change the composition. The tilt of her body and arms takes the viewers eyes off canvas to the viewers right. I find her left shoulder too prominent and distracting.
3. Lastly, to the second point there is too much realism. Perhaps, more blur or vignetting will help the viewer land on the face and stay there.
Here is a quick PS edit I did trying to illustrate my points.

Hey @Michael Hampton! Thank you so much for this course! I have a question regarding likeness and I'd really appreciate your input on it:
When trying to "transfer" likeness, as in, studying a face but then trying to redraw that same model's face in a new pose, what are the most critical things to pay attention to? Obviously it's best to keep in mind everything but, are there specific areas or proportions that make or break likeness?

Hard question. I would pay attention to the overall shape of the face/jawline and then focus on the spacing between the eyes (distance) as well as more specific distance measurements between the features. What your describing is actually not a practice I've ever done so take this with a grain of salt. Sorry to not be more helpful.

Thanks a lot for the lessons! Could you please let me know the deadline for homework submission?
Hi Mr. Hampton,
In the critique videos, would it be possible to have a bit more explanation of how to visualize the top of the eye like a ribbon? Please? I'm just having a bit of difficulty making that connection when studying the models.
Thank you!

I loved this week's assignment, the upwards-looking ones were challenging and quite fun to figure out, I also really like the "disk" approach for the cheeks!

I tried to focus on and a bit exaggerate the proportional variations between the models, particularily the proportion of brow-nose to nose-chin and its variations between them.

Thank you so much for this course! Your book and YouTube content has helped me and taught me so much and Im realy looking forward to starting this course! Just a small question: Could you please share if facial expressions are going to be covered, and if not, do you have any recommendations about useful resources or ways of studying them?
