First full figure, but definitely not my last! It's so hard to do hands and faces that small! This sculpture is 18 inches tall. Thank you!!!
Chad Shelton
What a sensitive modeling of the hands.
Ana Figueroa Cóbar
"Charlie without his wings" Thank you for the opportunity.

I like how you’ve worked your narrative into the piece. Looking to embody his sense of loss. I felt similar and wanted to work with the male model, but didn’t feel I could starting a week late into the comp.

The site is not allowing me to attach images of my sculpture. It’s not giving me the drag and drop option like it was. Nor will it let me search for available files on my iPad. Any thoughts? Hopefully you’re not a stickler for a midnight deadline. Cuz I’ve been trying for a while.

Nice work!
Chad Shelton
About 18” BTW.

Sorted it out. Thanks for this fun opportunity to compete. I found out about it late, but thought I’d give it a shot. I didn’t have wire on hand, so I MaGyver’d an armature from some industrial antenna wire a friend gave me. I had to pull many a late night ristretto shot to get thru this one! Good times…

Sculpting was my bucket list item for a while. This challenge was a good excuse to start. The figure is 20". It was a bit challenging to fit in the frame with a good background. Thank you very much for the opportunity and the super useful videos Andrew.

Hello! thank you so much, for setting up such, a fun and useful competition! I had all but given up hope, in being able to sculpt a full human figure! Now that I've been introduced to posespace, I don't have to find a place with a human reference. I really enjoy the DaVinci eye too! I'm already using it for my watercolor paintings! This is the first time I completed a clay sculpture of the human figure, I really enjoyed the lessons. It made me feel like I wasn't sculpting alone, thank you! I had only 3 days to work on this, and plan on doing more work more on her. This was 13 hours, I wish I had at least 4 more. I'm really excited to explore this new community and get online lessons, especially for sculpting and watercolor. I am a stone Mason and aspiring stone Sculptor. I'm excited to learn more about the human form and apply it to my stone work. Have a creative and fabulous week! Thanks again!
