First attempt at shading a figure. Tried to follow along pretty closely but definitely had difficulty following along with all the different lighting and shadow shapes. Just not super familiar with the mechanics of getting a smooth shade and getting really strong darks (only have an HB pencil). Feedback welcome, and thanks for a great course!

Definetly feel like I need more practice for all the information to settle down. But I learned many new things and useful approaches, I didn't know of before. Thank you Michael for this cource! :)

I took some time to attempt a full process, took me about 2.5 hours. Had to go back and forth between the stages a few time because I lost track of tilt, proportions and perspective a few times, but it was always a teaching moment. I realized I'll be revisiting videos of all stages multiple times, hah! Just goes to say how useful and information packed the course really is, so thanks Michael, it's truly wonderful!
Rendering was fun, although I discovered I need to work on my brushwork, not quite happy with how that turned out in places.

Thank you Michael for a wonderful course! I jumped in a bit late but it really helped me. Thank you again!
