I'm really satisfied with my performance and I say this knowing full well that I fell into the trap of drawing along my indicial center line for no. 2 which makes the stomach area too long.
I'm often too afraid of having the rib cage too close to the pelvis which shouldn't be a issue.
I'll be revisiting this exercise later!

And after another slightly failed attempt, I did it.

I think I'm improving with proportion and spacing between the ribcage and the pelvis, but still have to work on it.

Your spacing between the rib cage and pelvis is still quite large. They are mus=ch closer together. You'll get there!

2024/9/28. Good evening everybody. Here’s my assignment. The second one looks like the rib cage itself is stretching toward the right. Maybe if the rib cage was made of jelly it would be possible. I’ll try not to commit the same mistake in the next similar poses. Thanks.

Hi, Marco! Remember, when the rob cage and pelvis pull together and create an indentation, the rib cage is not right under the skin. There are fleshy folds. Try bringing the rib cage in just a little on drawing @2 where the folds are. That will make the rib cage a bit more narrow and closer to its actual size for this pose.
