For today's practice, follow these steps:

  1. Download the four images included with this lesson.
  2. Draw the volumes of the head and neck, rib cage, pelvis, arms, and legs.
  3. Incorporate gesture drawing techniques and measuring techniques.
  4. Translate each part of the body into a simple volume: cubes, cylinders, ovoids, or compound volumes.
  5. Focus on understanding the orientation in space and axis lines of each volume.
