Volumes of the Legs

30

For today's practice, download the PDF with four images of the poses demonstrated in the lesson. Your task is to draw the volumes of the entire figure, focusing on:

  • Head and neck
  • Ribcage
  • Pelvis
  • Legs

Try to draw the leg volumes on your own, paying attention to the direction and orientation of each section. Refer back to the lesson if needed, and aim to complete each drawing in about 25 minutes to maintain a sense of urgency and energy.

Good luck, and see you in the next lesson on drawing the volumes for the arms!

I might have to redo the 2nd one, I think the ribcage there's a bit too big.

Good start! The limbs of the male figure are a bit too small in relationship to the torso, but the 3D is starting to work.
