What is your DREAM Art Job?
3yr
There are a lot of different career paths when it comes to the arts. What is your dream art job?
It would be pretty cool to become a freelance animator. Create things of my own or get commissioned by a company to animate something for them. Maybe, when I get good enough become a teacher and try to inspire hope in people who want to do the same.
Write and self publish semi-trashy novels with my own cover art. This is my retirement project.
My plan is to use Blender to make props for Daz3D. With the metaverse up and coming I think there is going to be a lot of demand for artists to create props, clothing, environments, et cetera.
To draw and paint whatever I want. Be my own boss. Whether the income comes from art sales, lectures, subscribers, etc.. I just want to have the freedom.
So far, I'm absolutely loving what you've done with the "place" here, Stan!
Since I've spent half my life working for others, my dream art "job" is to design my own art career and work for myself. I've escaped from corporate America (with some years of running my own business) to pursue a career as a professional artist (fine art). I've always wanted to be in the art world. I've noticed, however, that despite being a former business owner as well as working many years in corporate America, designing a career around art isn't the same. No two businesses are the same (unless they are galleries or non-profits). This internet age has created even more possibilities!
A concept artist for the gaming industry, where I get to see my creations brought to life or an illustrator for cards like MTG.
I have worked as a pediatrician for 25 years. I now want to career shift over the next 10 years to creating children's book illustrations and sculpture.
Having one!
I am so looking forward to actually be able to make a living with an art job!
Since I was little I always wanted to say that I worked on a Disney animated film, but as I have gotten older I think my version of a dream job has changed. I think I would love to be finically free, showing at some galleries and being able to travel the world supporting my self and my family as an artist. Don't get me wrong if I still get the opportunity to be on any sort of animated film in any way I would still consider that reaching my dream haha.
I want to be self employed, be a successful comic artist, anime artist, and share my work with the world
i would love to work for trading card game studio such as hearthstone, or wizard of coast
loaded question but can one want it all? Can one aim to be just like Iain McCaig? You asked for dreams. Illustrator/ painter /story-teller.
I just want to have a decent art studio and teach kids till I'm gone. no retirement from art right😁😁😁?
To be a Environment Artist for video games or an animated series. Something that helps brings smiles or an escape to people.
