i drew a two point room because i misread the first project's rules oops, so ill put it here instead
@waffletimecat
i did a few more gestures after watching crit. could anyone suggest some things to work on? i think i have to better control my line weight
@waffletimecat
i tried this out and it was a lot more enjoyable than measuring for 3 hours! i have a decent sense of angles but a lacking sense of width and height, so i want to try more. i think considering shapes more than individual lines will help
@waffletimecat
mostly stuck to angles and their convergences. i probably should have blocked in the eye sockets because it would be needed for shading, but as I was laying it out i guess i just couldnt see them all too well.

i like the ones that caught a sense of form, but not all of them did. I also had issues with keeping the "CSI" lines simple enough so i went over them after i was done. i dont think i really understood it so i hope the demo helps me out

first master study is after twitter user @hanzo1011, i really like their penmanship and how they use lines to add grit and ruggedness to their stuff. i dont know if I learned much, they are really unpredictable with their lines

I really dig this drawing and your study is nice!
@waffletimecat
i was happy with how this came out, maybe the shading was a bit of a cheat to cover up the lack of line confidence but i felt my proportions were close
@familyknox
cool
@waffletimecat
im going to try to sketch every day if I can so I can build confidence, for now it will be from observation since im still working on accuracy (the mailbox is too tall here)
@waffletimecat
importance I did digitally and it took a WHILE just cuz of my setup so I did light direction on paper. I regret not easing my line thickness on the importance version, i could have described the shapes with a more dynamic emphasis than just trying to do a single thickness per shape. i think ill see that in the demo
