My attempt at the assignent level 1 :) I tried to really let my hand flow and draw from the shoulder to achieve smoother lines. Again, proportionally some things are off, but working on it :))) Any feedback is appreciated!! ♥

I really like the way you handled the shape of the top parts ("quarters?") of the boots—I feel like you captured they way they fold and twist with just a few simple, clean lines. And I like your shell shape, too!

Here is my attempt! :D I started with the pear and thought I did a good job with the values. My approach was to look at the shapes of the values and focus on proportions, rather than the actual shape of the pear. Then, I attempted the level two drawing and used the same approach. I think the values are decent, but I really struggled with simplifying something as complex as the human face. Also, the proportions and anatomy are way off, but since that was not the task, I am not beating myself up about it. Plus, I think I lack knowledge in that area. Anyway, please tell me if I could improve these any further! ♥ I would greatly appreciate it.

I think you did a great job at simplifying the shapes! I also like how you transitioned from harsher outlines of the edges in the pre-demo version to refined edges through changes in value in the post-demo pear. For the values, I think the lightest shadow and middle value are slightly too close. I personalyy would darken the shadow tone up a bit, to make the darker and lighter parts of the pear more prominent. Great job :DD
