That was fun, I remember doing this in school after learning 1-point in art class 25 years ago..

And I missed one line while darkening the lines which are supposed to stay after erasing the construction lines😂

Tried some too... I always find myself ending up with a different angle than in the model after making the blob work. Propably my first blockin is already off.

I will have to practice a lot more. Also I still not found a working setup for taking pictures with the phone😭

Hey there! I've typically found natural lighting to be best for photographing work, and it can be worth considering a darker pencil if your work is showing up too lightly to be picked up.
That said, it seems you started out more on the side of gesture to the point where you had some noodle-y sections, but then over practice you leaned over to the side of structure. I think a good target to aim for would a mix of both, something like the female figure with one hand on the ground and another in the air (it's difficult to make out the number) and #7 (the man with the stick). These have a nice balance of sweeping lines that capture flow while also having enough structural description to keep it grounded/realistic rather than cartoony.

It would have been hard enough without the brush pen. I will do some in pencil.

I really loved this pufferfish when we visitet sealife last year. The fotos are not the best quality, but because I shot them myself, I can post them without violating any licence. Feel free to use them, if you want.
I'm not really happy how the tailfin turned out on the big one. I think I will play with this guy a bit more after this assignment.
This one really was fun!

I really had fun, but I think I became sloppy at some point. Also when doing the spider hand my strokes became shorter and less confident. And the robo hand of the girl turned out tonbe to small.

I'm trying to practice tapered strokes right now, and I am noticing that most of the time my lines get darker towards the end instead of lightening up. But when I deliberately try to vary the pressure of the pencil the line gets wobbly and too dark overall. The quicker lines tended to be the same level of dark throughout. Should I focus more on speed, or am I supposed to plan more in putting the pencil down lightly, increasing pressure, then making lighter as I finish?
It might help you to imagine the movement as a plane landing at the start and then lifting of at the end of the stroke.
