Wow this was much harder than I expected it to be. It was so easy to misproportion something to the point where it no longer looked human. I'd definitely appreciate some feedback on this one.

This is a rough one, but I feel like it is getting better with every attempt. One that made me really get it was #6. Displaying the force the model is using really made me think of the rhythm, because my first attempt looked more like she was dangling on the rope. By adjusting the flow of the limbs I managed to make it feel more lively and forceful.

do we have to Master something before we can move on to another video lesson?🤔
I was watching your video lesson and I'm practicing drawing accurate proportions for 7 days straight, and I feel like I was making a small progress but I'm getting used to it. But, should I master matching the proportions first before I move on? or it is okay to move on to another video?
Any answers will be appreciated!❤️

I went with the copy paper and set myself a goal to use all 500 sheets for practice by the end of the year. 495 to go 😋

This was fun!
I included a picture of my "warm-up table" in case anyone is interested. I have a roll of paper (probably used for a plotter once .. Idk), the paper roll rests on the floor, paper comes up between table and wall, covers the table and is attached at the front with two of those things you can use to fix tablecloths to tables on a windy day. This fixes two problems for me: lots of space while not spoiling "good" paper for warm-ups and keeping the tabletop clean. Also it forces me to practise different angles since I cannot rotate the paper.

Thank you Stan! I got a lot from this demo: look for rhythm, group features, think about the subject, oppose corners for structure to curves for gesture, starting boxes with cylinders - and use a not too sharp pencil :)

My level 2, maybe more of combining 2 images rather than drawing from imagination but I’m very happy how it turned out.

My robot ordered the wrong size of shoes and my hand is definitely something I will try again tomorrow 😅

The penguin turned out better than expected. The hand… happened. Lol. I’ll have to try again and be more wary of the relationships between lines.
