Challenging for sure! I felt that changing the pose slightly in the more difficult poses helped me understand things a bit better.

My assignment submission for part 1 and 2. The artists I chose to study from are, Bernini, John Buscema, Caravaggio, Derek Hess, Glenn Vilppu, Hardy Fowler, John Stich, Karl Kopinski, Roberto De La Torre, and Wally Wood.

Here is my try at this. I had to refer to the video a bunch to remember the correct proportions. I also choose to use the full 8 heads high. I think I’ll have spend some time memorizing this proportions.
Solid! On your profile view, I think if you shift your hips/legs to the right, it will help the figure feel more upright and less like it's leaning forward.

Level 1 warm up sketches on the iPad. Hands still always give me trouble, but trying to focus on the line quality.

Nice job with all of these! I especially like what you've done with the hand, it really maintains the gesture and feels like a great framework to build on! Watchout for the pinch you have going at the wrist, it's starting to encroach on what Mike Mattesi calls a dead shape, check out his Dead Shape Vs Live Shape demo a bit later on in the Shape portion of the Basics course. Great job!
