Just a clarifying question. I did the exercise and saw as i made more attempts at the same simplification they improved but simplifying was really a struggle in general. Should I stay on this lesson and really drill it until I'm comfortable or move on to other lessons and just practice this in the background. Really appreciate any advice!

I wouldn't push it too far that you feel burnt out. You could keep practicing for a while if you'd like but if it gets to the point you're not having fun with it, I suggest you keep moving and come back to it after you've explored some other ideas. It's really cool to be able to come back to these lessons just like that 😁 good luck!

I drew this while watching the demo using more gestural lines and looking at the structure and it went so much more quickly and I think I have a much better understanding now than what I did before. (more fun too)

After the snail I took about 4 attempts at the boots and it was unintelligible that they were even boots haha but I’ll attempt to try again with the demo. Everyone looks like they are crushing them though!

I will be doing the exercise again alongside the demo. I’ve been drawing figuring it out on my own for the last two months. Then I found out about the course!
