Really enjoyed this one. Felt really daunting at the start but I feel like I have a good grip in the concept now. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Third try, have definitely improved since the first. Happy with this one.

Second try, felt a lot better about this one. Overlaying the lay in over the reference pointed out where things were wrong so I used that to correct things before putting down the final lines.

This was hard. I took so much time to measure out the proportions but when I finished I could tell something didn't look right. Once I overlayed it with the reference it became clear the eyes were WAY too high.

Had heaps of fun with this one! I'm level 1 but decided to do level 2 anyway. I feel like I definitely improved as I went along, especially in the last few.

Also studied Frank Quitely.

Week two done! started experimenting with line weight as I went along with the course.

I did a study of Mike Mignola. It made me realise there's so much more to his art than meets the eye. Even though the final image is often very geometric and simple, his understanding of shadow and depth shows there's a lot more going on in the construction stage before the final image is covered in darkness.

Went really messy on the first couple. Definitely not perfect but I think it captured the basic concept.

Happy with it.
