Here are my attempts. Level one and two. Really struggled with that hippo!
I really like your work especially the rooster, flamingo and the bottom hippo. Some feed back if don’t mind is I would try to break it down so it’s just the basic shapes and less details just for this assignment. I have the same habit of adding to much detail too haha, Just my personal feedback either way great work!

I think my value shading was alright, but have a bit of a hard time trying to think simplified, instead i instinctually try to make what I see as whole. But practice makes considerably better as it goes.

Some of the simple shape choices you made for the portrait turned out great! I noticed that was something a lot of level 2 students struggled with.
