I draw mostly for hobby. I mostly do comic book style art but also some classical style like portraiture or human figures.

You say your study of the head with multiple light sources is not pretty. I disagree. I love seeing artists draw those kinds of studies where they show the form and structure of the object as you did. Fantastic work. I love this course by the way. You've shed so much light on many aspects of lighting and shading that were a mystery to me. Thank you for this course.

Hello everyone, I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but my two ellipsis are looking very different from one another, the one closer to VP1 looks so much wider?
I guess there is something off, but I can't tell what it is.
Happy practicing!
I tried that trick you did by coloring the edges of the figure, then selecting the background and then inversing the selection to fill in the inside of the figure but it didn't work. When I used the magic wand it also selected everything inside the figure. Is there anything I did wrong? I don't think I left any opens spaces when I colored in the edges.

Hi everyone,
I finished some Beverly Hale cranial unit studies, any critiques would be much appreciated. The final 3 are from recalling.
Have a good week everyone!

Here's my gray scale. I feel I could refine it more but don't want to put too much into it. I don't want to make it into a big thing. I want to do more of these also.

This task is a real challenge for me. I find it difficult to draw 3 dimensional objects. Does anyone have tips on how I can learn to draw objects better?
I'd hugely appreciate constructive feedback for the homework. Thank you :)
So question, would you recommend always starting a painting with neutral grays?

Great course so far. Where can I find the link to the brushes and/or the line art in this lesson?

Hiii here are my first gesture drawings from across a 1 week period in order of when I did them. This is my first time taking art lessons of any kind and I’ve developed way too many bad drawing habits over the years, so I apologise for the bad line quality and all the itchy scratchies! Tripod hold still feels a little weird and sometimes I automatically draw over a line until it is at the angle I want so I’m practicing just leaving the lines as they are. Any tips or critiques would b hugely appreciated!

Just wanted to say that I enjoyed your class very much so thank you. You are amazing and here is my shot on one of the exercises. Will definitely continue to practice shading more and with a fresh perspective on how to approach it. Thank you again and cant wait to see more classes from you.
