eh, I think drawing straight lines is not easy while standing and of course i need more practice at this

Still struggling quite a bit to make these look interesting at all or to put down the shapes in way that feels like they make sense, but I think these ones are at least a bit better than the initial ones I tried before the demo and critique?

maybe try focusing only on their faces/heads/facial features, skip the bodies for now

after viewing the photo, i see i was a bit heavy handed on the shoe laces and too light on some of the creases, loose maybe sloppy

hierarchy primary emphasis on the shape of the rhino, secondary emphasis on the horns and head, shadow - illuminated from mid right, then shadow imaginary illumination from upper left

still making some of these too large for the 9x12 paper - girl still too large & first hand was much larger (attached is second)

after watching demo and critiques, very loose and the hand is exaggerated a little bit (hahaha) more like a lot, penguin is still a bit stiff tho

am starting to understand how to use and apply this CSI, although it may not reflect in my drawings (yet) and will take many more drawings to execute clearly

i guess i just like to make large drawings so it is a struggle to make the drawings small enough to fit my pages

first two before demo, third after watching demo admit it feels unnatural to draw organic shapes using straight lines and it shows - challenging
