Day 6

I gave up on the boots. I couldn’t get past the laces.

I gave up on my boots. I just could not get the lines and proportions correct.

My attempts at drawing the pear are included here. I have learned so much already watching Stan’s drawing. Thank you! I’m really enjoying this class.

I’ve gotten my supplies. I’ve been experimenting with different pencils, paper, pencil grasps and drawing. The videos have so much good information that are already helping me learn.

I’m still waiting on the bulk of my supplies, but I still had a sketchbook and a pencil so I decided to try doodling something today. My grandma recently took this picture of a bluebird and I thought it might be a fun subject to doodle.

Every day I read all your posts and admire your drawings. I am a true newbie. My goal is to simply learn how to draw more than stick figures. I’m looking forward to our session where Stan will instruct us on drawing. I’m glad to join you on this journey.
