Congratulations to all the winners! This was a very difficult one to judge because there were way more amazing submissions than prizes. And if I counted correctly, there are 105 prizes... Thanks Proko! It was a lot of fun to draw from all those nice reference photos and to see all the great artwork. I look forward to doing it again.

Hello everyone! It's my first time participating in the 12 Days of Proko, and I'm really enjoying it so far. Here are some forceful gestures that I did. I had an amazing time drawing dynamic poses from the pack. I tried to capture the energy of the pose and stay loose. By the way, the timer is really good and convenient to use! And thanks to Proko for collaborating with amazing artists!

You've definitely done some studying with the Force Instructors...well done :)

Man, I super-duper hate doing this. I watch the demos and how brilliantly it all works for them, then I try to do fast and loose strokes with my pencil and it’s just utter garbage. Lol. I’ve got to watch much more, and it’s almost like the more instruction, the more screwed up I get in having a sense of how to stroke and how to visualize what it is I’m attempting to do. Of course, my watching the demos or live streams at 2x speed, may be a factor in my stroke speed being distorted as I try to mimic the pros. But alas, I’m on a 7th grade level, so I shouldn’t seek to be a Rembrandt in a day, a week, or a year. i do think I’ll need to go back and watch plenty of gesture demos, frustrating though they are for me. I do see their value, I just suck at them and don’t know that I have the technique even in the ballpark of a free wrist or shoulder making the strokes, and then I try to see what is the stroke or shape I need to be attempting (thinking as if I were a pro), and I don’t feel like I see it. I feel blind to what I'm searching for.

Don't be too hard on yourself. The only way you don't get better is if you give up...
