Are there any demonstrations of ProKo using structure and showing how to apply shapes because I'm struggling with how to build them on each other? Are there any video recommendations or other help?

Hi @Lancelot The Poet,
no there are no demonstrations of this assignment, except for what's in the video. You'll have a lot of that though in the coming lessons, Robo Bean & Mannequinization.
For now, just give it your best shot and post for feedback; that's where you'll learn a lot.
If you click on the "assignments" tab under the video and scroll down, you'll see other people's submissions and the feedback they've been given. Some of them have paintovers too. Maybe this could work as substitute for Stan's demonstrations?
You might find the same thing if you click on the "comments" tab and scroll down.
Hope this helps :)

I have a question: where is the best place to get free models as references?

Hi, these are my 2min gesture drawings. Let me know what you think.

Hi @Lancelot The Poet, great start! I think there's some nice things going on in here. Many of the poses have feeling of movement. My favorite is the top left drawing in the last image; apart from having succeful gesture, the lines are rhytmical.
- I attached an image with some practice tips that you might find useful.
- Try to think more of the gesture as a river flowing through the body. You might appreciate checking out my first reply on this thread https://www.proko.com/s/Bosa
Though if you feel overwhelmed stick to Stan's examples.
- Try to feel the pose as much as you can, as if you were striking the pose yourself. Where is the tension & weight etc. This might sound silly, but try to actually strike the pose yourself, so that you actually get to feel the forces.
-If you haven't already I highly recommend checking out this video How to Hold and Control Your Pencil and applying what it teaches! Gesture quicksketches are a great place to practice drawing from your shoulder. You might want to work bigger when doing it, since it encourages you to use your whole arm.
- It would be interesting what your art goals are? What type of work do you want to create? Concept art? Animation? Illustration? Portraiture? If I know your goals I might be able to help you better.
I've been giving a lot of thought to what my goals are the last few months, and it has really helped me study more efficiently, and use the skills I already have more succesfully.
Hope this helps :) Keep up the good work!

Roadmap
I'm really rusty after a long break from drawing regularly. Getting back into it now and this is my 2 minute gesture practice for the day!
