Blue blobs are level 1, red blobs are poses from references, green are from imagination. I got a bit confused doing seated poses. Sometimes choosing where to place edges and how to angle them felt like guesses.

I did one of the Boots, the camel, and Skelly. despite not being the best looking of the 3, I was most happy with the camel. I while drawing I deliberately talked myself through the simplifying. verbalizing what I’m looking at helps me think about it more and not slip into auto pilot copy-machine brain.

I did a bunch of tries of each and selected the best. There was a lot of erasing! Sorry for the scrappy presentation.

Hi guys! first assignment submission on here. I had trouble controlling the values and getting consistent texture with the graphite, especially in the halftones where the value shapes get murky and weird. Excited to learn and improve through this course!
