added comment inAssignment - Melted Pancakes with Philip Dimitriadis
Asked for help
I got carried away. I think this is the most fun I had with an exercise ever. The melted pancake approach really invites me to be whimsical and exploratory with composition and space design. I am looking forward to my third attempt. I drafted the first design inside Krita, then moved to Photoshop to clean up the lines. Then of course played with colors because...why not?

Very Looney Tunes, which I like.

Here are my attempts at the exercises. I'm happy to get some feedback on these.

Learning the ellipse on the blob from the previous video is meant to be a slice/cutoff and not just a contour helps so much. So do the tips about convex edge pointing away and the arrow.

I'm looking forward to your more in-depth exploration of interiors and exteriors. I like coming up with interiors, but I have a hard time figuring how to lay things out within a shot.

Here is my attempts at creating the armature. The two larger ones were made on 1 unit: 2 cm scale, while the last was 1:1. This was much easier to create than the other way I learned to create armatures because it’s one continuous piece instead of multiple pieces wired together. My biggest problem was having the shoulders and pelvises a bit unequal. I will need to be more careful with checking the measurements when I make the bends.

nice! yes the hips on all the armatures look too wide so maybe try going out 1/2 of one cranial unit out on the hips instead of 1. Better for the hips to be too narrow than too wide because you can always add clay to the outside of the hips but pushing the wire back inside is more difficult when the armature is too wide.
