One of the biggest research I made so I thought it would be nice to share the process here. 1st pic is the idea I had for painting style (had to do more sketch like because of time, but those are the styles that inspired me!), mood and enviroment. 2nd pic is the general idea for each page using movie stills and whatever I found on Google as inspiration 3rd pic is the pages sketch + final references I made using mostly 3D and ideas from movies frames for each panel *btw I already posted my final submission so I'm not looking for any critiques :) (But if you have one anyways, it's okay!)
