My last sketch of the three, on big paper, after watching the demos for the hand and penguin. It seems like the goal of the exercise is to just have fun and not worry too much. It was fun! I did worry less on this one; I moved faster. I did very minimal measuring. It felt good.

My attempt at spider hands and penguin before watching the demo. I'm somewhat satisfied with the hands but the penguin could be a lot better. I think it's quite off balanced and also the lines don't flow as nicely as they do with the hands or the vr girl. Any feedback is appreciated :).

Brutal. The pinky... oof. is there some kind of foreshortening there? Curious if anyone had any tricks or guiding lines they found helpful.

Here my 2 other drawings for this exercise. Thank you for your critique!

Here is my hand drawing. Tried the red pencil me too! It is a strategy that helps me as well stay in "sketch" mode. I am quite satisfied with the result. I sense that my linework is improving as well as my hand-eye coordination. Proportions are satisfying too I think. Let met know your thoughts. Cheers

Drawing in curves helped me a lot for the snail. For the camel, I found myself still end up with scratchy lines, but maybe fewer scratchy lines than would have happened if I did all straights? Great exercise!

Pre-demo & Critique attempts. The laces on the boots were definitely a struggle. If I were to do it again, I would break them up into more curves and strokes, as well as making them lighter.

Just getting started with the course after taking a few drawing classes at my local adult ed center. I saw that his demo was something like 50m long and didn't realize it was sped up. This was about 90min. There were some aspects of the assignment that I didn't process/realize until watching the demo, like sticking to straight lines. Enjoying the class so far!
