Basic List of Sculpting Supplies

• Oil Based Clay
  • Chavant NSP Medium Professional Sculpting Clay (Andrew's preferred choice)
  • OR Monster Clay Premium Grade Modeling Clay
• Aluminum Foil
• Soft Aluminum Wire 
  • 14 Gauge (for armatures 8 - 18 inches tall)
  • 20 Gauge (for smaller armatures less than 8 inches)
  • 10 Gauge or 8 Gauge (for larger armatures more than 18 inches tall)
• Ruler
• Pliers (long nose, with a wire cutter)
• A butter knife (can often be found at local thrift stores)
• Sculpting Tools

Other Helpful Tools (optional)

• Heat Gun
• Wooden Boards (used as backboards for sculpture studies)
