Andrew, here is the build out result. Let me know your thoughts.
Andrew Joseph Keith
Looking good! Try to simplify the forms into simple shapes like the arms into cylinders, you might also need to check the balance from some angles. It’s hard to tell sometimes from photos. Keep it up!
@jakeyboy123
Andrew, I wasn't sure how far to take this one. Will there be a follow on lesson to bring this along a little farther? Anyway, let me know your thoughts. Hip are a little wide I think
@jakeyboy123
Andrew, Here are few additional images after the first submission. Kind if a tricky pose. She still looks a little emaciated from some angles but overall I am pretty happy with it. I did work on the hips to make them more proportional. She looks a little off balnce in the pictures. One thing I find really interesting is that while I am working on the sculpture I feel like I am really nailing it. Then I take some pictures and reality sets in. Funny but helpful to take a couple of looks before wrapping up. Let me know your thoughts. Hope everyone is enjoying the course.

Andrew, I finally figured out how to post images! Here are a few of my attempt at the pose in the last video. Took about an hour to do this. No tools, just my hands. I am really enjoying the class.
@jakeyboy123
Andrew, I have been practicing a bit over the holiday break so i am going to send you some results. I am looking forward to getting started up again.

Here is my attempt using the Bridgeman sketch. This is a lot of fun. The drawing was so expressive that I thought it made it easier to imagine the 3D figure. This took about and hour. I used a very soft clay for this one which was an interesting experience. The softer clay was easy to work with but it was hard to support the figure. I think a larger figure would not have been able to support the weight of the clay without some drooping. I have sent for the Bridgman book to use as a reference.

Looks great! With regards to gesture and balance it feels like it is leaning too far back, like it would fall over backwards, so maybe try pushing it forward a little so the center of mass is over the feet from each angle. Keep it up!

Asked for help
I am trying to figure out how to post images for feedback. I see the small icon to the right but when I download images through that, there does not seem to be anyway to move forward. Can someone help me on this?
Katey Jensma
Hi @jakeyboy123! To attach images to a post, click the small image icon on the right that you already have located. Then click "Browse Files" and choose the images from your computer. Once you have chosen the photos click "Attach" on the bottom right of the image uploader. If you are still having trouble please email me at support@proko.com

Andrew, here is my attempt at the female torso. This took a couple of hours. Mostly by hand with some help with a small tool. Let me know your thoughts.
@jakeyboy123
Andrew, this may sound odd but I am not on any social media and do not want to be. Is there a different way for me to get images to you?
Andrew Joseph Keith
You should be able to post them here by clicking the image icon on the right hand side of where you comment.

Andrew, I just received my Chavant clay. I was surprised by how hard it is. Apparently I need to soften a bit. Can you tell me the best way to go about preparing it use? Thanks
Andrew Joseph Keith
yes it's hard out of the block, I like to put it in the oven at a low temperature (like 130 degrees Fahrenheit) for a while to allow it to soften up. Once you start working it it becomes softer.
