I think the only ones being considered were posted by the deadline, noon on Sunday, because Peter had to go through them and record a reaction prior to leaving for a trip to Africa
O Great Ancient One
you who guard the tombs of the dead
will rise once again to harvest the wandering souls into your embrace
for they do not know rest apart from you…
I think there is a typo in the rules, on Instagram it says 11:59 pm for the deadline but on here it says 11:59 am I know I am cutting it pretty last minute but I hope the instagram post is the right deadline
WOO, think I made it on time! anyways here is a creature I made, tried making it as dynamic as possible but it was a lot of fun! These challenges are great motivation for me even if I'm not always going for a win so thank you to Stan for hosting them.
Maky, the sneaky lemur assassin from the rebellion on his mission to kill lieutenant Equus. This battle could determine the outcome of the Junglia civil war...
I should've redo the whole image, but for whatever reason I left the work for the last two days (as usual), so I only have this mess to present. I'm actually quite happy with the composition and story (and unhappy with everything else).
Hope you enjoy it!
Hello! - A bit of a late submission (Its just a sketch challenge how did I still leave it last minute???). I know you've probably trawled through a lot of posts to get to this one so keep it up!
Story:
Late one evening at Proko Industries two scientist going by then name of Peter and Stan made a rather unusual discovery. It turns out laughter is not an human response to humor in the slightest but a bacteria! The discovery was quite groundbreaking, occurring because Peter told a particularly funny joke while stan was using the microscope causing him to exhale the bacteria and view it under the lens. The bacteria has a distinctive shape somewhat likened to that of a jellyfish although we have been assured but our top scientists that its a flagellum used to propel the bacteria through the depths of hysteria. A truly remarkable discovery.
I designed a witch/guardian character who cares for little birds. I kind of had the elderly-in-the-park-feeding-birds image in my head as I was drawing this and I was trying to capture that enjoying the little things in life kind of vibe. Hope you enjoy!
Here is my contribution to this months proko challenge. Deep in the north of russia lies the Arghaktza temple of an ancient alien race, just discovered by the Иванов family who went lost on their way to the house of their dead grandfather. when he was alive he wanted to tell everybody about the temple but no one would belive him. No its up to his offspring to rediscover this mysterious place.
i took 7 images and tried to make a story out of it. I named this art piece as
"THE JELLY ZOMBIE " . through this i tried to show a hero who is trying hard to protect world from the attack from zombies of jelly fish . it was so much fun.
thanks to proko sensei for giving us this challenge.
Hi everyone - Here are my reference sketches for this month's challenge. I really enjoyed working on them. The complex shapes and forms of the insects are always challenging to capture. There are so many interesting design ideas in the grasshopper. I made notes of all the interesting aspects that would drive the design. Some ideas I can develop further in the future ... ( can only get so much done in the weekend :)
Any feedback or critique is welcome -
Best of luck to everyone.
P.S. Peter Han - big fan :)
