Happy Chinese New Year everyone. I made this year of the tiger illustration to celebrate. I also had it printed for friends and co-workers. Hope the new year brings luck and good fortune to everyone.

Hi everyone - Here are my reference sketches for this month's challenge. I really enjoyed working on them. The complex shapes and forms of the insects are always challenging to capture. There are so many interesting design ideas in the grasshopper. I made notes of all the interesting aspects that would drive the design. Some ideas I can develop further in the future ... ( can only get so much done in the weekend :) Any feedback or critique is welcome - Best of luck to everyone. P.S. Peter Han - big fan :)
