Here's my attempt with a satellite radio receiver in a bracket. Looking at it now, I can see where I missed with the back 'knob-screw' thing.

This was a quite challenging, my page wasn't big enough. Also think I put to much detail and chose to hard a subject. Also the doors just came off.🤣

Before I started I wondered whether it was possible with the lid in an angle… I guess I answered my own question. When someone would have to make this object one would need a right angled design. Although there are some little faults, it was a nice study though.

Did try to follow along :D This was a great demo! I had no trouble doing this myself. And Marshall don't worry about not being super acurate all of the time. I bet you had to sit at an awkward angle, because of the camera, I can't imagine keeping my measurements and lines consistent when I can't really see what I'm doing, so this was impressive to pull off! The proportions of my plane are a little different of course, because I don't have the acurate measurements of the model plane. The only thing giving me trouble was trying to keep everything straight, because my T-square and paper were slipping a bit.

Ticks on paper is going to be my new MVP. I'll never count in millimeters again!!

Watching this demo on drawing in Orthographic perspective Marshall with the plane, actually really was really educational on how to approach it all. Will give this a try for the assignment on picking a simple object near me n give it a shot.

I'm sure the progeny will look back on this plane with great reverence!
