In this lesson, we’ll discuss the various methods you can use to check the accuracy of your portrait sculpture. It’s very important to keep accuracy in mind during the entire portrait sculpting process and it’s a good idea to use a variety of methods to keep your portrait looking good. Some of the methods we’ll cover include using your smartphone, measuring with calipers, getting feedback from others, using a mirror to identify distortions, changing your lighting, and checking the sculpture from extreme angles.

If you enjoy this lesson consider going premium. The full portrait sculpting course offers more in-depth instruction on using measurements, triangulating measurements in space, and scaling the sculpture up or down.
