LESSON NOTES
The arm is not symmetrical. We tend to force symmetry in most things we draw. This makes the drawings boring and the gesture stiff. The design of the triceps looks much more dynamic when looking for the asymmetries I talk about in this critique. This includes the 3 muscle bellies and their large tendon.

Nice studies! I noticed a couple of times where the brachialis is shown as a small lump so I drew over one of your drawings. The origin is close to the insertion of the deltoid, and it is very visible when the arm is in pronation. I also noticed that in one of your drawing, the labeling of the medial head of the triceps was a bit misleading. Wanted to point it out because I'm not sure if it's meant to indicate that the medial head is only visible from the other side, but it looks like it's pointing to the ridge muscles. Medial = towards the middle. Hope that helps :)
From biceps to triceps, but this time I've added a bit of tone here and there. Here we go...

Hi @Audrey Giovanni, nice drawings! Good gesture and structure!
- The anatomy looks accurate for the most part, but here and there, the muscles seem to attach incorrectly. For me, it helps to do drawings from imagination to test my knowledge and to gain a stronger grasp of the muscles.
Drawing 1 & 5 show uncertainty of how the lateral head inserts to the tendon.
In drawing 6, the long head is attaching to the lateral side of the tendon rather than the medial which it should attach to.
When doing anatomy studies, I like to really dissect the figure; I draw what's not visible (lightly). I like to find the relevant bones (in this case, the humerus, scapula and maybe the ulna) to make sure I understand the anatomy.
Hope this helps :) Keep up the good work!
More Studies after watching the critique video. All feedback is welcome, I'm having some trouble identifying the medial head in these poses.

Wow, these just look so awesome 😍. Makes me feeling pumped to revisit the arm muscles💪
The triceps look really good. My only critique would be the deltoids. They look really cool, but the heads might be a little mixed up and the feathering of the lateral head might need more studies.
Hope this helps :)
Hello everyone, I am trying to identify the trips in these 2 photos but I'm having a hard time. Could anyone help me please ?
Thanks a lot and have a good day
