I'm new to drawing and am following a textbook, can anyone provide me some feedback?

I decided to do another still life. I’m overall pretty happy with the drawing but I don’t think the loaf of bread or fabric came out very well. Would appreciate any critiques!
Hey toph,
The problem I see with your still life is the values, they don't relate to each other or the reference. You have to look at the value of the bread compared to the table, the background to the cloth, etc.
I did a quick paint over to show you what I mean, hope it helps :)
The shapes are good, darken the value of shadows to solidify the form, some cast shadows seem missing.
I noticed the missing shadows right after I had posted haha. But for the darken value should it be everywhere?
