I like the forms of the 6th cat on page 3.
My advice if any would be to treat it like a life drawing course.
Pick a subject do some fast sketches to get an idea of the flow and action. Then some longer ones to get in some form. Stick with the same subject matter. Different angles and poses should help you get an idea of the volume and movement.

That is sort of what i try to do, sometimes ducks, cats, robots or explosions/smoke i'm trying to understand the subject so i can style and pose it as i wish, i dont really time them but i try to use different poses and make them do stuff and feel alive, but i dont really come out of those feeling i have quite understood the subject well.

Just some thumbnails, sketches, and prework for the cover challenge.
Hey everyone,
Here is my submission for this month's Proko challenge. I decided to go with Coraline by Neil Gaiman, you'll probably notice I took some "artistic liberties" with Coraline's hair, I liked how it looked in the overall composition, as if she was being dragged by the dark, so I decided to go with it. Hope you all like it :)
This cover design is for The Master and Margarita. I did a design inspired by the book awhile back and felt this was a cool contest to expound on that idea.
