Level 2 Camel - Really need to work on more confident line work and proportions.
@tkrosch14
Level 1 complete. Snail 1 - I think the line work could be a bit more stylised and the overall shape could be proportioned better - but it's OK. Shoe 1 - maybe needed to simplify it down a little bit because without measuring and making the proportions correct the shoelaces get to be a bit of a nightmare - I'm interested to see the demo's and critiques to see where I can and how to attack an image like this next time. Overall the likeness is still there and some of the lines I can see the potential to execute with more finesse. Not particularly pleased with the result but I'm learning a lot. Looking forwarded to digging into level 2.

It may help you when starting a drawing to very lightly sketch an "envelope" around the subject. It helps to visualize the relationship between two separate objects in a scene. Try to make it a simple closed shape. Your CSI lines look great!

Tried out Level 2. Shape and proportion needs a little work but overall better then yesterday's pear effort. Nose probably needs a but more tilt as it makes the face a bit more front facing.

Hey, I believe the shapes read really well; and furthermore, your drawing has so much character/charisma; I'd buy it.

2nd Pear Proportions are a little bit stretched.

That’s okay! You will be studying proportions further into the course. You did a good job with your 5 values, and even shading! Keep it up 👍
