Landmark practice. Still trying to grasp the idea and figuring out all the parts of anatomy and body parts. I am not sure if I have identified the landmarks correctly… critiques are hugely welcomed.

Gesture is soooooo hard! I been practicing daily for over a month or so now. I started being so afraid of giving up my scribble messy lines to consciously trying to reduce the lines…but when I’m under time pressure or having a inner panic for any reason I forgot to keep calm and my messy line comes back out again. It was like I’m searching my form in my mess of lines! I think starting on my no. 370 things seem to start getting a little better but sometimes it’s still a hit and miss depending on the pose. I also feel that I’m still focusing too much on the contour….Does anyone know how to get through this stage, any tips or things I should study? Or it’s a matter of needing more practice and training for the eyes? Any thoughts or critique are welcomed and with great appreciations.

Thanks Steven for the class and for saying that there’s no absolutely “correct” way of doing the box men form! It helped me to set down a lot of my psychological burdens when doing the exercise and just to enjoy the fun of drawing. Here’s my box men from imagination practice! Will be gaining more mileage on this onward.

Hi, here is my first submission on the bean exercise. I first did a couple on paper then moved to procreate to practice. Any thoughts are welcomed :-)

Hi! :D Here is me. With me rushing and my coffee spilling over my white shirt. Love the prompt. What a fun! :)
