Sorta getting the hang of it. Having some resistance with clean lines

All very different. This is hard work but I’ll keep at it. It’s hard to get into a rhythm with mapping out dimensions

I used so many references photos I didn’t want to save or post them. Sorry if that was part of the assignment. I feel like I’m doing the csi assignment (less shapes) here but this is what I got!

I chose Eliza Ivanova for the master study project!

Here are a few master studies I did from artists I like and admire. Ranges from apparently scribbled lines with Heinrich Kley and Paschalis Dougalis creating dynamism to the total absence of line with Berthe Morisot’s. I also found interesting the use of coloured paper to play with shadow and highlight lines enabling focus but also volume rendering

I’m having a hard time with proportions especially with the penguin
