Ummm, try to slow down and kind of make guides yourself before starting, light in your first strokes and don't go in with higher than 2h pencil until you are satisfied with primary shapes, and also rather than choosing anatomical shapes from your subject try to add shapes with shadow or same value..... I hope I could show you in image what I am talking about but I am at my part time job right now, it's security so don't worry I just have a boring shift that's it......... but I will try to guide you from things I have right now.... I am on shift so it's not perfect but hope you understand

My 2nd attempt (left side) and 1st attempt (right side). Great exercise for me to practice not only to simplify shapes but also learning to control my grip and pressure in using pencils. I would really appreciate feedback and recommendation. Thank you.

You're capturing the 3-dimensionality of the pear, which is a great start. I would recommend continuing to define your value edges, trying sharper and more angular shapes to prevent values blending into one another. Also, continuing to define each value by pushing the contrast helps with clarity -- try starting a bit lighter with a less heavy hand and finishing a bit darker by adding more layers of tone. Hope this helps! :)
