This was suprisingly hard, and a lot of lines. I did this digitally, and it became a bit too clean. If I did them again, I would mayby do a bit ticker line for the light ones. And mayby use a brush with bit of grayscale.

My go with the assignment: 3 pigeons from
reference, another one without one

These pigeon drawings rock! The big, simple, squishy body with the little details around the beak and eyes and feet is a perfect way to tackle this project.
If you wanted to give your pigeon more perspective, you might adjust the angles to look a little more like this. Note the horizon line. If it is low, the pigeon will look bigger. Like youre looking up at him.
It’s a funny way to view a pigeon.
I hope this is helpful. Keep it up!

Hard to keep things sketch-like and not concentrate too much on the exactness. I'll try the imagination one next!

My first attempt on my own model. Learnt so much from this critique. First thing I am going to try, is to use the tip of my pencil more and take more time refining the edges and planes to have more contrast.

This was suprisingly hard. I had hard time finding the values! But enjoying the start and can’t wait to keep going😎
