Likely going to try this one again after the demo video. Really messed up the character but decided to finish what I could anyway. Drawing character poses even from observation like this is really challenging, and probably one of the main things I am looking forward to improving.

Spent way way too long on the left boot, right one took less than half the time. Need to focus on lines more than details. Felt very challenging.

Had some trouble keeping the proportions correct and had to start the shell over a few times, and really need to remind myself to do solid lines and not chicken scratch.

Second attempt at the pear. Hoping there is some improvement. Surprisingly hard to get the shade I want for the lighter sections. [First attempt is on the left for comparison. Pear 1 and pear 2 reference respectively.]

First go on the pear, not feeling great about it, especially given how long it took, but going to try again a bit later. Still, actually doing something instead of just thinking about doing it is progress.
