Mr. September
1-1-24 I decided to attempt the drawing and add some line weight ti what I felt was most important. I was tempted to add more due to the heaviness of the subject matter. Felt confused how to use line weight for light and shadow but figure I'll get some clarity with the demo or I can watch the lesson again. Thanks Stan and team! Happy New Year! Learning to draw with 2.5 little kids is no easy task :)

Jumping back in after a long break. Just finished watching Stan's sketching and see many ways to improve already. Happy New Year everyone.

Great attempts. I think your final lines on the penguin are a little stiff. You don't have to worry about getting your final lines that dark. What's important is seeing the loose and confident light lines.

This is my second time through this portion of the course.

I'm just starting my second attempt, I quit really early on when it first came out. Let's go!

Decided to have fun with perspective. This is my son's toy from Bluey. Btw, just want to encourage you guys to go outside and draw even if you're not drawing landscapes. Having my breakfast outside while sketching starts the day off just right!

Bluey toy! Day 3 drawing challenge.

Just tried the snail for the time being, it seemed simple enough to simplify. Will be trying all 4 references to draw. Edit: Finished boots, focused on simplification than details however tried to make proportions accurate enough.

Very nice, I'd be proud of that. I'm going to try them all too :) GL
