Any words of advice on how to conquer this jerk? It's been weeks and I still can't get it to go. How would you break it down into simple steps so you don't get lost in a mess of lines? I've tried measuring, I've tried just drawing the silhouette and just end up with a great big mess of lines.

For about fifty years now, I’ve often thought about getting an airbrush, but never took the plunge. Is 61 years of age too old to take the plunge? I think I already know that answer. 🤣 After spending 40+ years operating printing presses, I experienced firsthand the industry transform from analog to digital. From a commercial standpoint, digital is the only way to go. And from the love of one off art perspective, analog all the way. I got The Master of Illusions book by Sandro Del-Prete after being exposed to him from your perspective course video about him. I am thoroughly enjoying that book by the way. But, I have a feeling that in the next few weeks or so, that I will have an airbrush in my hands! I hope sweat doesn’t interfere with my water based paint! Gee thanks, Marshall! 🤣 🤷♂️

I love isometric perspective. Probably because of all those video games that I played back in the day that used isometric graphics.
I also love marble runs, so I constructed one. If the WEBP format works it should play as an animation.

Thank you for turning me on to Sandro Del Prete. His style is similar to Escher. I found this Prete image online, and roughed out a sketch. After doing the rough sketch, I realized earlier in the lesson, before you mentioned Prete, you basically showed a simplified version of this piece with an isometrical cube and then an extension of that with the six triangle shapes. How clever of you to present it that way! Forgive my artwork, as it is just a roughed out, feeling no pain thumbnail, totally freehand study. Cheers!
