Much harder than it looks, it was very intimidating to even try and START drawing. I did it the best I could. :) who knew shoe laces were so scary!

It looks like you made a lot of progress figuring it out from the first attempt to the third. The boots were definitely a challenge - there was a lot going on!

This exercise is hard for me! I'm a beginner so I never understood why artists looked like they always made these extra large movements with their arms and then you look down at the page and you only see one line. I get it now, they are literally drawing in the air above the page and deciding to only put down a specific line, makes way more sense. Please ignore the rhino, I'm trying to take the figure drawing class as well at the same time and it's oddly beneficial how these courses benefit each other.
Thanks for sharing! The exercise is looking great along with the rhino. Several of the mushrooms look the same. So when continuing I would suggest forcing yourself to push some shapes more. If a circle was started first then start with an oval. Then move ahead and make another and make it an even more exaggerated oval, etc. I’m cooperating in multiple classes as well to keep regular practice.
Same boat here, also going through the figure drawing course. I feel like this course is a perfect thing because some really essential concepts that I am missing as a beginner like form, perspective, light and technique were introduced, but not developed in the figure one. Great shrooms though!

3rd day of drawing the pear, felt confident enough to draw from real life aka this squishy lamp that I have on my desk. Never done that and it wasn't so bad. Will work up to drawing Plat the cat, she loves drawing time.
