I did this exercise a while back now and am redooing some of the earlier lessons, gotta say it was much clearer the second time around and I can feel improvement even though I have only got a short way further in the course. Also trying digital this time

Great to hear that you found it easier this go around! That's a great feeling. Your pears are looking great. Nice job designing the value shapes. My only critique would be that the shape in shadow on this pear might be a touch too light.
Gave this another shot after watching the crit, I managed to make one drawing I felt had some potential to develop further. This is a REALLY good exercise I should def repeat ALOT

I wouldn't call my self level 2 at all, but this was the most fun assignment yet. The ref was a komodo dragon, It's not a good likeness :D
