How much of your local environment is a source of inspiration for your art? As another person who lives in the south and near the coast, I was curious what kind of inspiration you've drawn from that environment too.

I like Marshalls metaphor for art and gardening!
There's another quote by George Carlin about the importance of "contraction and expansion", and how constant productivity neglects the importance of stepping away or letting go. I wouldn't have thought of contractions as an example but it makes sense.
edit: in the process of trying to find George Carlin's quote, I found one by Bruce Lee about fighting that could relate to what Marshall said about shifting energy: "When the opponent expands, I contract; and when he contracts, I expand. And when there is an opportunity, "I" do not hit, "it" hits all by itself."

To jump off from the question below, in regard to the transcripts, is that something the team needs help with in creating as more classes are being made? I noticed one of the older classes I purchased had them, but I was curious if the newer ones had them as well. If not, would you be open to others helping you to transcribe lessons if you're not just using an automated transcription software? I've had experience proofreading and editing and I'm about to undergo further training for transcribing legal documents, so I was curious if that's a skill that may be needed here. Sorry this question is a lil longer!

I think the downvote is a good feature particularly if there's toxic and inappropriate comments. Instagram looks like it tends to put the most interacted comments at the top, which can often end up being toxic in my experience. It'd be refreshing if the downvote helped create a healthier environment. :)

Would you ever consider making a course on the financial aspect of the art industry, such as contracts and interacting with clients? I'm not sure if that's enough info to qualify for a class, but it'd be awesome to get insights into that.
