Done after watching the correction

I guess I kinda forgot what was the assignement while doing it 

tried to try it with the chameleon too, not too happy with the result (the blue sketch). I didn't search enough for ideas that I like before starting I think.

this what a lot of fun. Had a great time trying to understand the lines of the lions and trying to create my own design from imagination. would love to hear any feedback on my work :)

It was a fun exercise and really quite challenging! I'm happy with how I started from a weird idea (Grubs kind of look like croissants) and fleshed it out into a decent drawing. I've omitted the reference photos for sanity's sake (I've spent enough time staring at beetles and worms) but the top half of the sketches were of the reference photos. For improvements, I can see that I've rushed through the initial sketching phase of the reference photos. It probably would have been better if I spent a bit more time understanding the form of the actual references and try to simplify/design my shapes accordingly. Any further advice/critiques are welcome!

Did a second one trying to improve my S lines. I'm I the only one who gets anxious when the pencil is too sharp ^^' ?

I always struggle with quadruped, I'm quite happy with the result. Could have refined it more but I didn't wanted to spend too much time on it.
