First attempt before watching any of the videos. I think the Penguin turned out the worst, it looks like some kind of penguin-eagle hybrid. Head/beak should be smaller and I didn't capture the pose well at all. Pretty happy with the shape of the hand. For the robot I really tried to focus on capturing the motion and leaning back posture and I think I did ok. Any feedback would be welcome.

Third attempt after watching the critique video. Less worried about finding hidden values and broke it up into more uniform planes. I think it turned out better! Feedback much appreciated, thank you.
i know he said not to outline our highlights and i know absolutely nothing you’re better at this than me but i think from a solely artistic perspective the outlining you did for the shadow gradients and highlights actually work really well. it creates a style and its consistent. it goes against his critique video but its cool and way better than mine! haha

I think the shape is ok but the shading is off as I kept seeing gradations which probably made the attempt too busy/confused. This is my second attempt after watching the demo. Feel I would improve further upon a third attempt. Any feedback welcome, thank you.
